The Netherlands are known as flatlands, but offer a multi-faceted landscape, from typical North Sea coasts with dike landscapes and dune beaches, the Ijssel Sea to the west over wide fields and flower fields, reaching to the hilly landscape in the south. Especially known for its flower cultivation, windmills and cheese productions, the Netherlands offer a diverse touristic programme, e.g. the cities Amsterdam and Maastricht, beautiful idyllic North Sea islands and numerous leisure facilities.
Dutch Coast: The Dutch Coast, in the provinces Northern Netherlands and Southern Netherlands, is strongly influenced by the Atlantic maritime climate. Northern Netherlands, surrounded on three sides by the sea, is characterised above all by lush green dikes, dunes along the long coastlines and endless seas of flowers. Southern Netherlands delights with its variety: scenic river and lake areas, cultural offerings such as the Rotterdam or The Hague, and, not least, the famous windmills. A plethora of beautiful holiday homes await your visit!
